Irrigation repair
in Roseville.
Roseville does not wait for a citation to start the clock. The city’s water conservation code makes a standing rule of it: a leak, including an irrigation leak, gets repaired within five calendar days — sooner if it is bad enough. That is a year-round obligation, not a drought measure.
The rules that apply to your address
Roseville water rules.
Municipal Code §14.09.060(C): all leaks — irrigation systems, pipes, fixtures, pools, fountains — shall be repaired within five calendar days, or less if the severity warrants. This applies year-round at the current Basic Water Conservation Stage.
No landscape irrigation with city water between 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. (§14.09.020.A.5). No irrigation during rainfall or for 48 hours after measurable rain. There is no drip exemption from the hours window.
Roseville has been at the Basic Water Conservation Stage since June 2023, which assigns no mandatory days of the week. The city’s three-days-a-week guidance is a recommendation. Assigned-day schedules only take effect if a drought stage is declared.
Roseville’s Water Loss Prevention rebate pays 50% of eligible cost up to $750 for verified leak repairs (repairs only, not upgrades), first come, first served. It requires a licensed contractor — A, B, B2, C-27 or D-12 — so work we perform does not qualify. We would rather say that here than at submission.
